The Nationals Senator has wrote to both Telstra and Optus asking them to voluntarily delay the 3G network shutdown.

Chair of the Senate Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport References Committee & Nationals Senator Matt Canavan joined 3AW Mornings to discuss his request to the telco companies.

“It’s better to be safe than sorry,” Canavan said on 3AW Mornings.
