Oxford Dictionary has revealed its Word of the Year for 2024, coming a week after Macquarie Dictionary did the same thing!

Director of Publishing at Oxford University Press Lee Walker announced the word on 3AW Breakfast, while revealing the other words which were shortlisted.

“Maybe we should be thanking Anthony Albanese!” Ms Walker told Ross and Russel.
