Liberal MP and prominent member of the Jewish community David Southwick has condemned the fire-bombing of a synagogue in Ripponlea this morning as being more than just anti-Semitism.

He’s also slammed the government for failing to do anything to prevent the act as anti-Semitic sentiment grows.

“Our worst fears were realised today when a suburban synagogue has been firebombed … this verges on domestic terrorism,” he said.
