Tom Elliott weighs in on Peter Dutton’s ‘masterstroke in Australian politics’

Tom Elliott

Federal opposition leader Peter Dutton insists he will only stand in front of the Australian flag, if he’s elected as the next Prime Minister, a move Tom Elliott thinks is a “masterstroke in Australian politics”.

Current Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stands in front of the Australian, Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander flags when he makes a public speech, but Dutton won’t be doing the same thing.

“We are one nation, and I don’t mean that in the Pauline Hanson sense of the word, but we are a single nation, Australia!” the 3AW Mornings host said.
