Police are at the scene of a stabbing on Chapel Street this morning.

The attacker is on the run, with officers searching local streets.

Caller Debbie told 3AW Breakfast there’s a large police presence and “blood everywhere”.

The male victim in his 30s was rushed to hospital in a serious condition, with the stabbing occurring outside of a tobacco shop just before 8am this morning.
