Heidi Murphy has slammed Ambulance Victoria over what she says appears to be a concerted plan to cover up actions taken by officials at the organisation over a wake in September 2021, which breached the then-COVID-19 restrictions.

An inquiry submission revealed efforts allegedly made to hide the fact staff were breaching restrictions which limited the number of attendees to 10 people at a time.

“According to this claim … [A] location picked to attend the public eye, the event was even given a fake name in calendars, all of this says this was not a spur of the moment slip-up,” she said.

“This reads like a full and detailed and concerted plan to knowingly and wilfully ignore every rule the rest of us were living under,” she added.
