Man fighting for life after being struck by illegally modified electric bike
A Hastings man is fighting for life after he was struck by an illegally modified electric bike last night.

The 69-year-old was airlifted to hospital following the collision on Frankston-Flinders Road at 6:40pm.
The 24-year-old bike rider was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“It’s a bit of a timely reminder for people that are getting on these electric bikes and scooters, don’t hesitate to go into your local police station and just suss out if they are fit for the road,” Victoria Police Senior Constable Paul Hogan said.
