Flares were seen at the A-League Grand Final last week and despite the dangers of them, they are a part of soccer culture around the globe.

Tom Elliott is completely against the use of flares at soccer matches and says they are “dangerous” and are legally only allowed to be on a boat or in an emergency.

“What are other laws do we suspend just so soccer supporters can have a good time at their match?,” Elliott said on 3AW Mornings.
