In a rather special program, we played a grab from Godfrey Cohen, the founder of Godfrey’s stores.  He told us of his Grandfather’s business which was a Timberyard in Exhibition St where the Comedy Theatre stands now.
We took calls on people’s earliest memories and Queenie called in about seeing Phar Lap winning his Melbourne Cups.
