Company left in the dark following second Melbourne man charged with child sexual abuse crimes

The director of an occupational therapy centre where one alleged child abuser worked said she has been left in the dark after police swooped and arrested two men.
Michael Simon Wilson has been charged with multiple child sexual abuse offences, as the Allan government announces an urgent review into the childcare sector.
D.O.T.S Occupational Therapy for Children Company director Hannah Dunn, where one of the alleged offenders worked, said she still hasn’t been contacted by police or government.

“He was part of our administration team for just 26 days … I’m so proud of our policies and procedures that allowed us to recognise he wasn’t fit for our team,” she said on 3AW Drive.
CEO of Oho, a company that has been pushing for a change to Working With Children Checks, Liv Whitty, told Jacqui Felgate that individuals are able to modify their data to deceive employers.
“The Working With Children Check register sees when people change employers, but in Victoria an individual can delink themselves from an employer … that needs to be changed,” she said.
