Tensions are heating up between the state government and emergency services after the phrase ‘ditch the b***h’ was written on the side of a tanker in protest of Premier Jacinta Allan.

Carrie, who was part of the protest, told Tom Elliott a lot of people shared the same negative sentiment.

“That’s how a lot of us are feeling,” she said on 3AW Mornings.

“It’s a message about everything, the emergency services levy is a big portion of it.”

Micaela Drieberg, CEO of Gender Equity Victoria, told Heidi Murphy that type of language is unacceptable.

“Any slogan that is misogynistic and makes reference to someone’s gender crosses the line.”
