Tom Elliott says he was right when he said anti-Semitism was on the rise in Melbourne after a shocking incident against primary school students from Mount Scopus Memorial College.
Reports have emerged which allege school children were on an excursion to Melbourne Museum where they were verbally abused by high school students.
“They’re just kids, 10 to 11-years-old … going to the museum – a pretty normal school excursion – and to have other students chanting ‘dirty Jew’, it is just nasty, nasty stuff,” he said.
