Oscar Piastri has extended his championship lead to 16 points over McLaren teammate Lando Norris after winning the Belgian Grand Prix.

Channel Nine’s Tony Jones joined 3AW Mornings and spoke about the thrilling race victory, saying he is a “beast behind the wheel”, despite being very reserved off the track.

“He’s come a long way from being the number one designated driver,” Jones said on 3AW Mornings.
