Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Mike Bush has reassured Melbournians that police are “doing their job” to keep the community safe.

Bush refrained from commenting on the judiciary system, but said police are playing their part in putting alleged offenders before the courts.

We will do everything we can to put those people before the courts, and we will put the best evidence before … That’s our job in the system,” he said on 3AW Drive.
