Tom Elliott has gone head-to-head with a pro-Palestine activist ahead of a student protest later today.

The Morning’s host got fired up when the National Union of Students Education Officer James McVicar claimed Elliott was taught the deaths of thousands of “innocent civilians” was OK.

“No, it’s not OK, you idiot, I never said it was OK, it is a consequence of starting wars, that’s what I said. Don’t misquote me just because you have some stupid point to prove,” he said.
