‘Most likely the end’: Western United stripped of A-League licence
It is “most likely” the end for Western United, after the A-League club was stripped of its licence to compete in Australia’s professional men’s and women’s competitions.
Sport journalist Vince Rugari, who broke the news, revealed the club has eight days to appeal the decision.
“Most likely the end for Western United, unless some other ownership groups can come in to save the day,” he said on 3AW Drive.
