State Opposition Leader Brad Battin has fronted the media in an impromptu press conference at the front of an active crime scene in Dandenong.

Former Police Detective and Crime Writer Duncan McNab provided his advice for the opposition leader and said he needed to “take a deep breath”.

“You tread carefully when you go to one of these things,” McNab said on 3AW Drive.
