A couple have been left traumatised after they woke to a terrifying home invasion early this morning.

The couple’s son-in-law Peter has told Tom Elliott they now want to leave the state after the alleged offenders took off with the keys to their cars.

“At 3:20 am, they woke to people in the house, some intruders, they were in the garage … trying to remove the cars … he came into the garage and they fled into a nearby car,” he said.
