The AFL has handed down Izak Rankine’s penalty for a homophobic slur.

The Crows star has finally learnt his fate, given a four-match ban for the homophobic remark aimed at a Collingwood player on Saturday night and has been ordered to undertake further Pride In Sport training.

The 25-year-old could still play again this season, provided Adelaide loses their qualifying final and still reach the decider
