Victoria Police chief commissioner Mike Bush has revealed over 450 police officers are involved in the search and investigation for suspected police killer Desmond Freeman.

He says there is a “professional and coordinated” effort in searching for the alleged murderer and has called on Freeman to surrender.

“If that person is listening, it really is time for you to lay down your firearms and give yourself up so we can all bring this to a safe conclusion and this community can get back to what they love to do,” he said.
