Tom Elliott isn’t happy with a comment made by Police Minister Anthony Carbines following Sunday’s CBD anti-immigration protests.

Mr Carbines labelled the demonstrators who descended on Flinders Street station as “unhinged grubs”, a phrase the 3AW Mornings host didn’t agree with.

“For Anthony Carbines to condemn an entire group as unhinged grubs is unfair,” he said.

“For example, has he ever called all the pro-Palestine protestors unhinged grubs? The Police Minister is very selective when it comes to the protests he tolerates and those he doesn’t.”
