Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has lauded Australian actress Magda Szubanski after she took to social media on the weekend as she continues to undergo cancer treatment.

It comes after 10-year-old Annabelle Willis dressed up as Szubanksi’s iconic ‘Kath and Kim’ character Sharon Strzelecki, which caught the attention of the actress.

“She is an absolute lesson I think in courage and dignity and humour, even when the odds are stacked against you,” Ford said on 3AW Breakfast.
