After breaking the stories of a shocking attempted carjacking in Ashburton on Sunday and a horror child abduction in Doreen on Monday, 3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate joined 3AW Breakfast to talk about the brazen crimes.

And there was an aspect of the response from the state government on the terrifying incidents which Felgate found “strange”.

“You bang your head against a brick wall every day,” she told Ross and Russ.
