‘Defies comprehension’: Tom Elliott has his say on the Daniel Andrews controversy
Tom Elliott has had his say on former Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ controversial appearance at a military parade in Beijing on Wednesday.
The 3AW Mornings host said the whole situation “defies comprehension”, and questioned how Labor voters from the 2022 election feel about the former Premier now.
“The events of yesterday prove beyond all doubt, that ‘Dictator Dan’ is absolutely the right label,” Elliott said.

“It is about the worst, dumbest thing I’ve ever seen a current or ex-leader of Australia or an Australian state ever do.”
Former Labor MP, Michael Danby, then condemned Andrews’ presence at the parade, labelling it a “shame for Australia”.
“If I was in the Victorian parliament, I wouldn’t be voting on the statue, I can tell you that,” Mr Danby said on 3AW Mornings.
