Tom Elliott has “real problems” with Premier Jacinta Allan’s reported move to have influential Chinese officials tip into the state’s $34 billion Suburban Rail Loop project.

A report in the Herald Sun suggests that, as part of Ms Allan’s trip to China this week, she is pushing for more SRL funding.

“The Premier never really had a funding model for the Suburban Rail Loop,” he said on 3AW Mornings.
