Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has weighed in on the return of actor Craig McLachlan to the stage, eight years after being accused of misconduct on the Rocky Horror Show.

McLachlan is set to appear in the new stage adaptation of the board game ‘Cluedo’, which Ford says is a “pretty big deal”.

But the industry reaction to the actor’s return Ford thinks is “mean-spirited”.

“A lot of his former colleagues and former friends are very unhappy about it.

“It seems kind of mean-spirited to me after eight years.”
