Jacqui Felgate has teed off on multiple youth offenders after another crime filled weekend in Melbourne.

It’s understood a group of male offenders, wearing dark clothing, face coverings and armed with machetes and pickaxes, attended six businesses in south-eastern suburbs in a black Jeep over the last few days, stealing cash, cigarettes and terrifying local workers.

“This is the cold hard reality of systemic government failings … this is disgusting, it is disgusting stuff,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“We are all exhausted, it is not good enough.

“I think that this government is almost the worst government we’ve ever had.”

One of the victims caught up in the shocking spate of robberies over the weekend then spoke to Jacqui Felgate on her traumatic experience, all while holding her three-year-old daughter.

“I was just in pure shock,” Emily said on 3AW Drive.
