‘Absolutely appalling’: Twelve Apostles tourism fee slammed
A plan to charge tourists to go to the Twelve Apostles has been labelled “absolutely appalling”.
According to a report in The Age, the government and the local tourism board are considering plans to introduce a fee for viewing the famous Victorian landmark.
“I just think this is absolutely appalling,” Jacqui Felgate said on 3AW Drive.

Victorian tourism minister Steve Dimopoulos said no decision has been made yet on how to implement a dynamic pricing model.
“There’s incredible support by the community there to have a funding model to maintain the coastline,” he said.
“The Great Ocean Road has more visitors than Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef combined.”
