“I don’t quite believe this first story of yours,” 3AW Breakfast host Ross Stevenson told Victoria Police media advisor Katherine McLeod.

The wigs were stolen from a shop on Lennox Street on Monday afternoon.

The wigs had been placed in reception, as they were about to be taken to hospital to be given to children with cancer.

The woman is described as Caucasian with long dark coloured hair with blonde ends.

The male waiting outside the shop for her is described as Caucasian, and was wearing a white or grey beanie, black hoody, black pants and white runners.
