‘Beyond a joke’: Tony Jones fires up after McLaren controversy at Singapore F1 Grand Prix
Tony Jones has angrily reacted to the controversy overnight at the Singapore F1 Grand Prix involving McLaren teammates Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
Norris hit Piastri during the opening lap, pushing his car into the wall, and Jones thinks the Australian driver is being treated like an “absolute fool” at the moment.
“It’s beyond a joke now … his patience is really being tested now by this bias towards his McLaren teammate,” Jones said on 3AW Mornings.

“It’s just beyond the point of ridiculous now.
“If he’s standing up there at season’s end as the drivers champion, he’d have every right to flip the bird.”
