Jacqui Felgate has been given several concerning real life examples during her week break from 3AW, which highlights the negatives of working in the police force in Victoria.

The 3AW Drive host stated the problem has been caused by the state government and the courts, and is wreaking havoc on police officers across the state.

“You could not make this stuff up, but it is actually happening on a nightly basis in this state,” Felgate said.

Secretary of the Police Association, Wayne Gatt, then responded to the tip-offs Felgate received.

“Of course we’d rather them not doing what is effectively a prisoner transport job, and doing a primary policing role,” Gatt said on 3AW Drive.
