Stranded diabetic man survives more than seven days without insulin
Troy Milne, a diabetic who started a fire to attract help has been found alive, after more than seven days without insulin and 200km from his campsite on the beachside.
Senior Team Manager in East Gippsland at Ambulance Victoria, Dave Jones, joined 3AW Breakfast to provide details on the remarkable survival story.
“He was in all sorts of trouble,” Mr Jones told Ross and Russ.
