Retired Carlton star Sam Docherty has opened up about his secret battle with gambling, saying he hid the struggles due to “shame and guilt”.

He joined 3AW Breakfast to speak about his past gambling struggles and the message he has for people who are battling gambling addiction.

“By setting some parameters in that space is what I try and do these days,” Docherty told Ross and Russ.
