State shadow treasurer Jess Wilson has clapped back at the “bizarre, desperate and inaccurate” claim from treasurer Jaclyn Symes regarding the Liberals’ plan for tax changes.

Ms Symes stated Ms Wilson and state opposition leader Brad Battin’s plan would leave the budget in a “massive $10.8 billion black hole”.

But the state shadow treasurer has returned serve on 3AW Drive.

“Well frankly it’s bizarre, it’s desperate and it’s also wildly inaccurate,” Ms Wilson told Jacqui Felgate.

“Should that surprise anyone from a government that has led to the worst financial management of this state in its history?”

“I won’t be lectured by the treasurer or the premier when it comes to the financial mismanagement of this state.”
