Why the state government has been accused of being a ‘democratic dictatorship’
A Liberal state MP has shared his concerns with a new battery farm designated for Narracan, south of Moe.
Wayne Farnham has told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive the government has not consulted with the community or the council.
“It’s surrounded by bushfire overlays. So you’re not meant to do anything in there, but they’ve wedged out this little bit of land down the bottom,” he said.
Press PLAY to hear his concerns
He’s also pointed out a bushfire won’t ignore the battery farm.
“The minister has to think about these things,” he added.
