The Liberals are expected to deliver a stance on net-zero as early as midday tomorrow, after the partyroom held a marathon five-hour meeting today to discuss the issue.

3AW’s National Political Editor Michael Pachi has weighed in, labelling the process “messy” and “shambolic”.

“I would argue that this process that they’re going through, which is so messy, almost looks shambolic to people,” Pachi said on 3AW Drive.

“And the fact that Parliament is not sitting this week and they’ve all come back, on the taxpayer dime, there are 51 of them here just [to] have this meeting.”
