The ABC has revealed two violent young offenders have had their community correction order conditions altered to allow them to attend a taxpayer-funded holiday in Queensland.

“The conditions of this correction order were varied so that these violent youth offenders could fly to the Gold Coast and have a holiday at the theme parks to, quote, break the cycle of offending,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“Maybe they could go to jail, that might break the cycle of offending.”
