‘Rabble’: Tony Jones blasts ‘inept’ McLaren team after Qatar F1 Grand Prix
Tony Jones has blasted the “inept” McLaren team after their “stuff up” during the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Qatar overnight.
Both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri didn’t enter the pit lane during a safety lap early on in the race, giving Red Bull driver Max Verstappen the upper hand.
And the 3AW host and Nine News reporter didn’t hold back on his thoughts about the McLaren team.

“They’re a rabble, they really are,” Jones told Tom Elliott.
“It seems as though McLaren has done everything within its power, to thwart him (Piastri) becoming world champion.”
“No one should be treated like he’s being treated.”
3AW Breakfast sports reporter Jon Anderson also shared his thoughts on the race earlier this morning.
“You’d say (Max) Verstappen is a better chance than Oscar (Piastri) is, which is just totally unfair,” Anderson told Ross and Russ.
