The Victorian government has made an apology to Aboriginal Victorians in parliament, which was negotiated as part of the state’s historic treaty agreement, after being signed into law last month.

Labor and Greens MPs voted for the apology motion, while Liberal and National MPs voted against it.

3AW host Heidi Murphy was at Parliament House on Spring Street on Tuesday, and an aspect of the situation at hand “struck” her.
