The Premier has announced a plan to tackle antisemitism and hate speech in Victoria following the tragic Bondi terrorist attack.

The proposed laws include a plan to hold social media platforms accountable for anonymous hate speech.

Cyber safety expert, Susan McLean told 3AW Mornings, “New laws are always welcome, provided they are used, they are known, and they are easy to use.”

“There’s no use having a law that sits there, that is impossible for the police to use because of all these restrictions on it.”
