The Allan government has been accused of turning its back on new homes and a $60 million sporting hub.

Up to 1600 new homes had been planned on the site of the Keysborough Golf Club – as well as 18 footy ovals, cricket grounds, soccer pitches and netball courts.

And Bill Kusznirczuk from Clement Stone Town Planners says the deal between the golf club and a developer expired – after the government refused to budge on its urban growth boundary.

Press PLAY to hear his recommendation to the Allan government

“There’s no doubt that developers will be disappointed by this decision,” Mr Kusznirczuk said on 3AW Breakfast.
