‘Disappointed’: Allan government accused of snubbing new homes and sporting hub
The Allan government has been accused of turning its back on new homes and a $60 million sporting hub.
Up to 1600 new homes had been planned on the site of the Keysborough Golf Club – as well as 18 footy ovals, cricket grounds, soccer pitches and netball courts.
And Bill Kusznirczuk from Clement Stone Town Planners says the deal between the golf club and a developer expired – after the government refused to budge on its urban growth boundary.

“There’s no doubt that developers will be disappointed by this decision,” Mr Kusznirczuk said on 3AW Breakfast.
