‘Lying through her teeth’: Jacinta Allan called out after ‘safe’ CFA vehicle comment
Premier Jacinta Allan has been called out after she stated all of the CFA vehicles that were out in the fire zones on the weekend were “safe”.
3AW host Shane McInnes played some audio of the Premier, as well as some comments from firefighters on 3AW on Friday, which contradicts what the Premier had to say.

“The fleet is ageing, faults are mounting, and resources aren’t there,” McInnes said.
“It’s ultimately your responsibility to ensure we have the most reliable fleet available, for our professionals and volunteers.”
Grassmere CFA captain and President of the CFA Volunteers group, John Houston, then stated Jacinta Allan is “lying through her teeth” with her recent comments.

“You’re the Premier, you’re the only person who can change this, and if you don’t, it’s out the gate you go,” Mr Houston said.
