Amateur tennis player Jordan Smith says he was left in a state of shock after winning the inaugural One Point Slam on Wednesday night.

The event pitted professional tennis players, amateurs and celebrities against each other in ties consisting of one point, in front of a sold-out Rod Laver Arena.

“As I kid I’d dream of being on the big stage,” Smith, who coaches local tennis in Sydney, told Heidi Murphy.

“But this is something you’d never imagine, it’s unbelivable and I’m lost for words.”
