New tactic to beat hoons (and why we can’t show you photos)

Ross and Russel

Victoria’s hoon hotspot has come up with a new tactic to shred the tyres of unsafe drivers.

In the Hume council area, north-west of Melbourne, rough surfaces being applied to roads to make it more difficult to spin tyres.

And when they do, the tyres deteriorate quickly.

Police told Ross and John the rough surface won’t affect safe drivers.

But Inspector Anthony Brown didn’t give much else away.

The locations of the rough road surfaces remain confidential and he wouldn’t tell us what it looks like.

Can you get the stuff at Bunnings? I want to put it outside my house.
