Three teenagers armed with large kitchen knives broke into a house in Hampton Park overnight, allegedly assaulting a 75-year-old man.

The latest home invasion led 3AW host Shane McInnes to play some audio of Deputy Premier Ben Carroll from earlier this month, in relation to the state government’s ‘adult time for violent crime’ approach.

“These three alleged offenders, according to Ben Carroll, will face adult time,” McInnes said.

A 13, 15 and 16-year-old have been charged with multiple offences and will appear before a Children’s Court today.

Southern Metro Region Inspector, Dale Maxwell, then provided graphic details of the incident, and how the victims are holding up.
