A war of words has erupted between Premier Jacinta Allan and state opposition leader Jess Wilson over CFA funding.

The agency’s annual report reveals a $22 million increase last financial year after three consecutive years of cuts.

Allan has accused the Liberal leader of playing politics over claims about funding cuts, but Wilson has told Jacqui Felgate, the Premier knows she’s been caught out.

“I just think that the Premier is angry and desperate because she’s been called out for misleading Victorians over the past week,” Wilson said on 3AW Drive.
