Several high-ranking plainclothed police officers have been involved in a dramatic arrest while on their lunch break.

3AW Breakfast’s Ross Stevenson labelled the report, “One of the greatest stories I’ve ever heard.”

Head of the Victoria Police Homicide Squad, Detective Inspector Dean Thomas, told Ross and Russel, “I picked up my rice paper rolls in a nice cardboard box, heading back up Spencer Street to consume those rice paper rolls in the office.

“Crossing over Lonsdale Street, and I heard sort of a raised voice.”
