Footage has emerged of an elderly man who crashed into the front of a bakery in Glen Waverley, narrowly missing customers.

The crash made Jacqui Felgate question whether drivers need to be re-tested at the age of 80.

The crash happened on January 23, and the driver of the car was 87-years-old.

“Half a metre to the left and someone is dead,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“I really feel for the families involved in this.”

Owner of the Kerrie Road Bakery, Danielle, then detailed what it was like inside the store and what the driver was like after the crash.
