Police are appealing for public assistance following an incident that began in a fast-food restaurant car park just after 10pm on Tuesday.

Victoria Police media officer, Kathryn Muffett, told 3AW Breakfast, “A grey Kia pulled into a car park of a fast food restaurant on the Esplanade just after 10 pm, and it’s understood, a white Mazda followed the Kia and crashed into the back of it near the drive-through.”
