The victim of an attempted aggravated burglary in Thornbury has detailed how frightened she was when she discovered an attempted burglar wearing a “terrifying” mask.

Shimona told Jacqui Felgate she only made the discovery when checking the cameras the next morning.

“It’s terrifying, I didn’t get much sleep last night,” Shimona said on 3AW Drive.

“It is bizarre and weird and unsettling,” Felgate added.
